Editorial Policy
TheGTA6Gaming is a fan publication, and we take accuracy seriously even so. This page explains how we source stories, how we label them, and what you can expect from our coverage.
Confirmed news
We treat a story as confirmed only when it comes from an official source — Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or a directly attributable statement from someone involved in the game’s development or marketing. Confirmed stories carry a ✅ CONFIRMED label at the top of the article.
Rumours
Leaks and rumours are a huge part of GTA 6 discussion, and we cover them — but never as fact. Unconfirmed claims are labelled ⚠️ RUMOR. We always name the source: who reported it, where it first appeared, and whether that source has a track record. If a rumour is thinly sourced or conflicts with known facts, we say so plainly.
Fan theories
Speculation, trailer analysis and community theories are labelled 🔮 FAN THEORY. These are our interpretations or the community’s — interesting, sometimes right, but not news.
Citing claims
Every significant claim in our articles links to its source. If we cannot verify a source, we don’t publish the claim — or we explain exactly what is unverified and why we’re still covering it.
Corrections
We correct mistakes openly. See our Corrections Policy for how errors are fixed and disclosed.
Independence
We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. We don’t take payment for coverage, and any sponsored content — if we ever run any — will always be clearly disclosed as such.
